An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Oloieru in the 7th minute of play forced FC BOOM's goalkeeper Ilie Iorgu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustinian Chelaru in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Iorgu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cueni FC's Iustinian Chelaru got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Iustinian Chelaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Iorgu was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Iustinian Chelaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Iustinian Chelaru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC BOOM's Ilie Iorgu. Ilie Iorgu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Moise Floroiu fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cueni FC's protests and gave Moise Floroiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cueni FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Șerban Galiceanu hit a great ball. Paul Movileanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dorel Bolcaș. Ilie Iorgu came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Cueni FC's Ernest Ştefoi. But to his dismay, Ernest Ştefoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FC BOOM's Sever Jdeica got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iustinian Chelaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Iorgu having to interfere. Ernest Ştefoi struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ilie Iorgu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cueni FC. FC BOOM's Ilie Iorgu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Chelaru in the 41st minute of play. Ilie Iorgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Chelaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC BOOM getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sever Jdeica hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Iustinian Chelaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Iorgu was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The FC BOOM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cueni FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustinian Chelaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Cueni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Floroiu to maneuver through the defense. Paul Movileanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Arapașu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustinian Chelaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Iorgu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustinian Chelaru ran back to his position shaking his head. The Cueni FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Cueni FC's Iustinian Chelaru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Cueni FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Iordache Pelin hit a great ball. Cueni FC's Emilian Boroș was substituted for Nechifor Tincu. After 69 played minutes Cueni FC got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Pelin. If Iustinian Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The nice shot from Iustinian Chelaru in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ilie Iorgu had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Cueni FC's Ernest Ştefoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Iorgu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 80 in the game by Iustinian Chelaru from a close distance when the talented Ilie Iorgu managed to make a qualified save. FC BOOM's players were relieved. Cueni FC's Iustinian Chelaru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Iustinian Chelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle sounded Cueni FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC BOOM.
