Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Van Persia started the match with the kick off. Van Persia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gică Dobrinescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorin Gliga came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Motisul FC's Iosif Mușetescu. But to his dismay, Iosif Mușetescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Corneliu Pârâianu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tiberiu Alexa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Trăilă in the 21st minute of play forced FC Universitatea Craiova's goalkeeper Dorin Gliga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Gică Dobrinescu rounded Motisul FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Van Persia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Pârâianu having to interfere. Dorin Gliga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Ţintă in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Leontin Ţintă notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Universitatea Craiova's Dorin Gliga. Dorin Gliga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Motisul FC's Corneliu Pârâianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Dobrinescu in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, FC Universitatea Craiova's Narcis Bornescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Narcis Bornescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Universitatea Craiova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Narcis Bornescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Narcis Bornescu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dorin Gliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cazimir Budișteanu in the 45th minute of the match. Dorin Gliga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Ţintă in the 47th minute of play.

Dorin Gliga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Trăilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Motisul FC's Iosif Mușetescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Denis Golescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Leontin Ţintă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Gliga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Şimandan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Dorin Gliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Ţintă in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Motisul FC's zone, Gică Dobrinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Pârâianu came out of the goal and Gică Dobrinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gică Dobrinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Pârâianu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Leontin Ţintă took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Dorin Gliga to make any attempt to save it. Gică Dobrinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Universitatea Craiova getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Denis Golescu hit a great ball. Dorin Gliga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leontin Ţintă showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 84 minute of play. Dorin Gliga made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Liviu Trăilă sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Motisul FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
