Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bogdan Giurgiu started the match with the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Sumita's Liviu Burghelea tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dragoş Dragnea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 9th playminute. The supporters of Sumita booed when Cornatelul FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Tăzlăuanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Liviu Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cornatelul FCM's zone, Dragoş Dragnea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Ivăncioiu came out of the goal and Dragoş Dragnea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Liviu Burghelea made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Ivăncioiu. Cornatelul FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dragoş Dragnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Ivăncioiu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Bogdan Giurgiu put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edward Kolano. Maxim Tăzlăuanu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Octav Conta kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Bogdan Giurgiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes Cornatelul FCM got a freekick which was hit by Aron Grigorie. After 37 played minutes, Sumita's Pompiliu Ungur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calistrat Ivăncioiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sumita reached it. Liviu Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Ivăncioiu having to interfere. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Liviu Burghelea sped through Cornatelul FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calistrat Ivăncioiu. Edward Kolano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Zâncă in the 49th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Burghelea made a kick off. Sumita's Liviu Burghelea got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liviu Burghelea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Ivăncioiu having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Maxim Tăzlăuanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Burghelea in the 59th minute of play forced Cornatelul FCM's goalkeeper Calistrat Ivăncioiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dragoş Dragnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Bogdan Giurgiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Zâncă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edward Kolano made a huge save. Sumita's Liviu Burghelea got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoş Dragnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cornatelul FCM getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Maxim Tăzlăuanu hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Sumita were the better team. Sumita's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
