Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costin Claudiescu started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Costin Claudiescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amat FC's Filip Beșleaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Amat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Claudiescu came free, but Filip Beșleaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, UFC RAPID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Ciutacu to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Abagiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irinel Roşulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Irinel Roşulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Abagiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Irinel Roşulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Abagiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Abagiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irinel Roşulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Abagiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Abagiu in the 30th minute of play forced UFC RAPID's goalkeeper Irinel Roşulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Ploieșteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Irinel Roşulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Abagiu in the 32nd minute of play. Flavius Guriță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Beșleaga having to interfere. When Costin Claudiescu came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the UFC RAPID fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Claudiescu couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Claudiescu in the 40th minute of play forced Amat FC's goalkeeper Filip Beșleaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Claudiescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Filip Beșleaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Claudiu Ploieșteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Claudiescu in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Beșleaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stefan Abagiu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Costin Claudiescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Beșleaga. Amat FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Claudiescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The UFC RAPID fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when UFC RAPID's Costin Claudiescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stefan Abagiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irinel Roşulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Eliodor Tătaru struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Irinel Roşulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amat FC. After having played for 74 minutes, Stefan Abagiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amat FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Abagiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Abagiu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Flavius Guriță in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Amat FC's Emil Lupu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Loghin during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of UFC RAPID:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amat FC:s goal. Costin Claudiescu scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Beșleaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Filip Beșleaga made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Costin Claudiescu sent off a good shot on target. After 98th play minutes Costin Claudiescu shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Filip Beșleaga and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded UFC RAPID left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amat FC.
