When Răzvan Condeescu came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Dersida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Condeescu couldn't finish the play. When Răzvan Condeescu fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dersida AFC's protests and gave Răzvan Condeescu a yellow card for diving instead. When Stefan Abagiu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Amat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Abagiu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panait Dugulescu during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Amat FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Dugulescu to maneuver through the defense. If Stefan Abagiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Dersida AFC's Albert Dănălache got a free kick in the 26th minute. Victor Oprescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Horia Tunar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Amat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Dănălache came free, but Filip Beșleaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dersida AFC's Costin Todoran got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Stefan Abagiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Beșleaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Dănălache in the 37th minute of play. Filip Beșleaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Dănălache, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Costin Todoran made a precise shot to the right of Filip Beșleaga. Amat FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amat FC's goalkeeper Filip Beșleaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute Costin Todoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Beșleaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dersida AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Cristian Iftodi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amat FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Amat FC's Stefan Abagiu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Dersida AFC's Albert Dănălache dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Amat FC's Filip Beșleaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Stoican in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Vintilă Bărcăuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Beșleaga. Amat FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vintilă Bărcăuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Albert Dănălache fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dersida AFC's protests and gave Albert Dănălache a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amat FC booed when Dersida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Dănălache didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dersida AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ştefan Huștea hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Alexandru Stoican made a precise shot to the right of Filip Beșleaga. Amat FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. When Albert Dănălache was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After 72 played minutes Dersida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Dănălache. Alexandru Stoican's late challenge caught a Amat FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandru Stoican helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Amat FC booed when Dersida AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Stoican didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vintilă Bărcăuan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Filip Beșleaga made a huge save. Stefan Abagiu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Costin Todoran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dersida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Todoran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costin Todoran succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-6 in the 83rd playminute. Costin Todoran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Costin Todoran fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Stefan Abagiu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Lucrețiu Zamfirescu fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dersida AFC's protests and gave Lucrețiu Zamfirescu a yellow card for diving instead. The Amat FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dersida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dersida AFC.
