Dorel Stănculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Mateescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. deCode F.C.'s Atilano Cordario got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iosif Dumitrescu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Otesani's Dorel Stănculescu got control of the ball when Júlio Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorel Stănculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Cordario in the 90th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Dorel Stănculescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded deCode F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Otesani.
