After 20 played minutes Valenii AS got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Buhăescu. Ilie Mihele hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Valeriu Buhăescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. Valeriu Buhăescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Valenii AS's Rareș Nenițescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Valenii AS from getting a goal against them. In the 39th match minute, Valenii AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Nae to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Nae Atanasiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valenii AS's Rareș Nenițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mateescu in the 43rd minute of play. Júlio Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Brumaru to make the kick off. The deCode F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when deCode F.C.'s Augustin Mateescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rareș Nenițescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nae Atanasiu went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Valeriu Zbora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. deCode F.C.'s Claudiu Vătavu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Atilano Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot. deCode F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Cordario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rareș Nenițescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rareș Nenițescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Mateescu's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordache Aronescu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Valenii AS getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Atanasiu in the 95th minute of play forced Valenii AS's goalkeeper Rareș Nenițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Atilano Cordario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. deCode F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Cordario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. deCode F.C. had played much better football throughout.
