After having played for 14 minutes, Júlio Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. deCode F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augustin Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Otesani's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Mateescu came free, but Dorel Stănculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, David Pârcălab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Otesani's goalkeeper Dorel Stănculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Mateescu. After 38 played minutes Otesani got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Casian. In the 40th minute Atilano Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Stănculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Leão was the one to do the kick off. Augustin Mateescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. deCode F.C. fully deserved thier win.
