When Octav Tutuianu came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Laz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Tutuianu couldn't finish the play. Daniel Paraschiv charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Paraschiv the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Octav Tutuianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laz FC's goalkeeper Gigel Horhoianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laz FC's Eusebiu Bognar got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Laz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Nicodim came free, but Gigel Horhoianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Nicodim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gigel Horhoianu having to make a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laz FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
