After having played for 8 minutes, Aron Baldovin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gugesti CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Baldovin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tudor Stârcea hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Eusebiu Caramarin came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Aly Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebiu Caramarin couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Caramarin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gugesti CF's Dragoş Panduru. Dragoş Panduru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eusebiu Caramarin succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Tudor Stârcea thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Dragoş Panduru, a very annoying self made goal in the 27th minute which led to 0-3. Ernest Surdilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dragoş Panduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebiu Caramarin in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Panduru saved Gugesti CF from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Narcis Muscaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragoş Panduru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Panait Iorgu struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Flavius Bogdănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gugesti CF. After 45 minutes, Cezar Beca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aly Team and the Gugesti CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cezar Beca kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. With a little luck, Aly Team's Flavius Bogdănescu got control of the ball when Aron Baldovin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 48 minutes, Vintilă Golescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gugesti CF and the Aly Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Aly Team were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Panait Iorgu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavius Bogdănescu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Aly Team's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Iorgu came free, but Flavius Bogdănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Aly Team booed when Gugesti CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Golescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 64th minute when Eusebiu Caramarin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tudor Stârcea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Narcis Muscaș kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Eusebiu Caramarins short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Dragoş Panduru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Basarab Cînu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Flavius Bogdănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gugesti CF. If Eusebiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gugesti CF's Narcis Muscaș got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Iorgu in the 88th minute of play forced Aly Team's goalkeeper Flavius Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well placed Eusebiu Caramarin short distance shot in the 90th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross.
