Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marius Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Ivăncioiu having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olimpiu Ivăncioiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Nae Sfârlea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Arșanu charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Arșanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes FC.DUNAREA GALATI got a freekick which was hit by Felix Arșanu. After recieving a nice pass, Plasoiu's Horea Todoran tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ermanno Malvezzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Jugănaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Niculae Griguță hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ermanno Malvezzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bobeanu in the 19th minute of the match. Olimpiu Ivăncioiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Sfârlea in the 22nd minute of play. With his leg Olimpiu Ivăncioiu managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when FC.DUNAREA GALATI's Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Sfârlea in the 24th minute of play forced Plasoiu's goalkeeper Olimpiu Ivăncioiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Plasoiu getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Radu Logofeteanu hit a great ball. Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Ivăncioiu made a huge save. Plasoiu's Olimpiu Ivăncioiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Plasoiu from getting a goal against them. FC.DUNAREA GALATI's Anton Marghescu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Manuel Nenițescu in the 29 minute of the game. Anton Marghescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olimpiu Ivăncioiu. Plasoiu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nae Sfârlea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermanno Malvezzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Bobeanu in the 53rd minute. When Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the FC.DUNAREA GALATI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wawrzyniec Kochanowicz couldn't finish the play. Nae Sfârlea scored 4-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olimpiu Ivăncioiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
