In the 7thth minute of the game Emilian Mărăscu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vulturii Giulvaz's Cosmin Măcrinici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Singeorge's Emilian Mărăscu in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vulturii Giulvaz's goalie prevented a goal. Cosmin Măcrinici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilian Mărăscu in the 27th minute of play. Octav Stelaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Măcrinici having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Emilian Mărăscu put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cosmin Măcrinici. Vulturii Giulvaz's Ferdinánd Kis got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Ferdinánd Kis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Stelea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Codrin Ivăncioiu to make the kick off. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinánd Kis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Singeorge's Codrin Ivăncioiu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Vulturii Giulvaz booed when Singeorge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavius Sărăroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laurențiu Pătrașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Stelea having to interfere. Singeorge's Octav Stelaru shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cosmin Măcrinici but with some difficulty. Cosmin Măcrinici came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Singeorge's Codrin Ivăncioiu. But to his dismay, Codrin Ivăncioiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Emilian Mărăscu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosmin Măcrinici was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. The supporters of Vulturii Giulvaz booed when Singeorge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vulturii Giulvaz's Michel Fauvet got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cosmin Măcrinici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codrin Ivăncioiu in the 86th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Vulturii Giulvaz's goal looked a bit too open when Codrin Ivăncioiu came free, but Cosmin Măcrinici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vulturii Giulvaz's Michel Fauvet got a free kick in the 91st minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Singeorge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
