Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) David Abagiu made the kick off and thus started the match. FC President Arad's Felix Patriciu got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th match minute, Balaia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Zdrenţu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Pavel Baciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC President Arad's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Baciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Gorun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Costel Angelescu lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 11th minute, one of FC President Arad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC President Arad. Nae Panduru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Balaia getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nae Panduru hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Nae Panduru had to leave the field with a concussion. Mário Götze kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Aurelian Căplescu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Eliodor Aalexoaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balaia. David Abagiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Aurelian Căplescu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC President Arad's Eliodor Aalexoaiei. Eliodor Aalexoaiei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelian Căplescu to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as David Abagiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergiu Gorun. That made the score 2-2 in the 53 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Abagiu got free with Sergiu Gorun in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliodor Aalexoaiei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Căplescu in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Balaia's Aurelian Căplescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliodor Aalexoaiei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. David Abagius short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Sergiu Gorun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. David Abagiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Gorun having to make a save. If Aurelian Căplescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC President Arad's David Abagiu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 79 minutes in the game, fortunately Sergiu Gorun had problems saving as it came toward the left post. David Abagiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Sergiu Gorun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sergiu Gorun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lembitu Jusson in the 83rd minute of play. Balaia's Sergiu Gorun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Balaia from getting a goal against them. The FC President Arad fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when FC President Arad's David Abagiu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 95 minutes, Bogdan Encea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balaia and the FC President Arad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Balaia got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Encea. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC President Arad players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
