A hard shot 7 in the game by Iustinian Hortopan from a close distance when the talented Petrică Petran managed to make a qualified save. FCM HUSI's players were relieved. Radu Jula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Cârneci in the 17th minute of play forced Pogara's goalkeeper Aurelian Encica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Iustinian Hortopan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pogara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustinian Hortopan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petrică Petran stood somewhat misplaced when Iurie Mâinea came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 27 minute. Petrică Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Mâinea in the 36th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes FCM HUSI got a freekick which was hit by Petru Lupescu. Iurie Mâinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Petran having to interfere. Iustinian Hortopan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petrică Petran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FCM HUSI's Vlad Tăzlăuanu got a free kick in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Radu Jula made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pogara booed when FCM HUSI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Cârneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iustinian Hortopan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Petran having to interfere. Iurie Mâinea's late challenge caught a FCM HUSI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iurie Mâinea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Iurie Mâinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Cârneci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Encica having to interfere. If Iurie Mâinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petrică Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Hortopan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Iustinian Hortopan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iurie Mâinea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Petrică Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Mâinea in the 84th minute of the match. If Iurie Mâinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pogara's zone, Cosmin Cârneci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Encica came out of the goal and Cosmin Cârneci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustinian Hortopan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Pogara's Aurelian Encica got control of the ball when Cosmin Cârneci tried to sneak it across the goal line. There was no doubt that Pogara were the better team. Pogara's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
