Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Neaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Melinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Teodoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Axel Bosshard made a huge save. If Albert Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Albert Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Bosshard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Teodoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Mureseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Teodoreanu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Turcescu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Braznic getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ion Turcescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mureseni's zone, Gică Isopescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Neaga came out of the goal and Gică Isopescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Neaga came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Braznic's Gică Isopescu. But to his dismay, Gică Isopescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Stejaru to strike the kick off in the second half. Cosmin Ene might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Neaga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosmin Ene ran back to his position shaking his head. Cosmin Ene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gică Isopescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Cosmin Ene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Braznic's Călin Lițiu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Gică Isopescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the game, Vintilă Voineag was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braznic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mureseni the free kick. Axel Bosshard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Stejaru in the 77th minute of play. Albert Stejaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Bosshard having to interfere. Alexandru Ciurea took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axel Bosshard. Axel Bosshard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Gică Isopescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Neaga having to interfere. Cosmin Ene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cristian Neaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
