Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silviu Stoicea started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Sibisel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Velicu to maneuver through the defense. If Manuel Bordeianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Marius Tudor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gelu Opriș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marius Tudor came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gelu Opriș could save by the left post. Alex Melinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Sibisel FC defense, Manuel Bordeianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Joanță. The Sibisel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Joanță should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Sibisel FC's Marius Tudor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gelu Opriș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Puini's Gelu Opriș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Puini from getting a goal against them. Silviu Stoicea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gelu Opriș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Tudor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gelu Opriș made a huge save. Gelu Opriș made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Silviu Stoicea sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Bordeianu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Joanță saved Sibisel FC from getting behind. Gelu Opriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Stoicea in the 43rd minute of the match. If Marius Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silviu Stoicea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Manuel Bordeianu made the kick off in the second half. Gelu Opriș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Velicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugur Joanță made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alex Melinte sent off a good shot on target. Silviu Stoicea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Balint kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Emil Greavu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gelu Opriș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Bordeianu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Joanță saved Sibisel FC from getting behind. After 74 minutes of play, Sibisel FC's Silviu Stoicea made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Opriș was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute Silviu Stoicea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Opriș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marius Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugur Joanță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Bordeianu in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute Manuel Bordeianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Joanță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Melinte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Mugur Joanță when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sibisel FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Puini for a fine match.
