Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Bordeianu in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Gavrilă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Manuel Bordeianu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grigore Gavrilă was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Alex Melinte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Bordeianu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigore Gavrilă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Bordeianu to strike the kick off in the second half. Stelian Burdea struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gelu Opriș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. DTK. If Dragoş Tulbure had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, F.C. DTK's Grigore Gavrilă got control of the ball when Alex Melinte tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Melinte got free with Grigore Gavrilă in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, F.C. DTK's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Bordeianu came free, but Grigore Gavrilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alex Melinte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Opriș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Logofătu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristide Logofătu struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gelu Opriș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. DTK. Manuel Bordeianu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grigore Gavrilă came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Bordeianu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 83rd minute. Manuel Bordeianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grigore Gavrilă having to make a save. Manuel Bordeianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matei Vorniceanu during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes F.C. DTK got a freekick which was hit by Matei Vorniceanu. The F.C. DTK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Puini were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
