But to his dismay, Ilie Tudorică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Florin Calota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Tudorică, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Furcsoara AS got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Butnaru. 33 minutes into the match, Nicodim Buciuman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matei Izvoranu, 1-1. If Nicodim Buciuman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
