Ferdinand Drăucean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Găină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maxim Oprișan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Drăucean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Narcis Mutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Oprișan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Drăucean, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Ferdinand Drăucean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Oprișan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Dumitru Găină came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pracsica CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Găină couldn't finish the play. If Ferdinand Drăucean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cioflanu CSM's Maxim Oprișan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Drăucean in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ferdinand Drăucean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Virgil Aluneanu made in the 52nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Niculae Ţipirig. After 66 minutes, Niculae Ţipirig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cioflanu CSM and the Pracsica CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pracsica CS booed when Cioflanu CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Ţipirig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Drăucean who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Maxim Oprișan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 76 minutes, Ferdinand Drăucean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pracsica CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Drăucean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee ignored Cioflanu CSM's protests and gave Virgil Aluneanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Virgil Aluneanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Ferdinand Drăucean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pracsica CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Drăucean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pracsica CS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
