The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jac CS booed when Abisko Zinne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Lăcătușu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abisko Zinne's Gheorghe Petruț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Crușeveanu in the 6th minute of play. Gheorghe Petruț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Iulian in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Abisko Zinne getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Traian Lăzan hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Jac CS got a freekick which was hit by Vali Ţirpescu. Ioan Iulian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Ioan Iulian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gheorghe Petruț was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mihăiţă Crușeveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jac CS's Ioan Iulian got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Abisko Zinne's Gheorghe Petruț. Gheorghe Petruț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mihăiţă Crușeveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gheorghe Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ioan Iulian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gheorghe Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Iulian in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Abisko Zinne defense, Ioan Iulian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gheorghe Petruț. The Abisko Zinne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gheorghe Petruț should have stopped the shot. Cosmin Buzatu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jac CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Crușeveanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gheorghe Petruț breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihăiţă Crușeveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gheorghe Petruț. The goal made the score 0-4. Ioan Iulian came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gheorghe Petruț could save by the left post. In the 57th minute, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gheorghe Petruț. The goal made the score 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Crușeveanu in the 64th minute of play forced Abisko Zinne's goalkeeper Gheorghe Petruț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Jac CS's Mihăiţă Crușeveanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gheorghe Petruț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ioan Iulian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ioan Iulian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gheorghe Petruț having to interfere. Gheorghe Petruț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Crușeveanu in the 73rd minute of the match. Ioan Iulian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gheorghe Petruț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jac CS's Vali Ţirpescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gheorghe Petruț. That made the score 0-6 after 80 minutes of play. When Jac CS's Mihăiţă Crușeveanu in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abisko Zinne's goalie prevented a goal. Gheorghe Petruț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Crușeveanu in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ioan Iulian notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Abisko Zinne's Gheorghe Petruț. Gheorghe Petruț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ioan Iulian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gheorghe Petruț having to make a save. 96 minutes into the game, Mihăiţă Crușeveanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gheorghe Petruț. Mihăiţă Crușeveanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When the match was over Jac CS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Abisko Zinne throughout the match.
