Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sergiu Băcila took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Băcila in the 6th minute of play forced FC RACM MD's goalkeeper Mihnea Magheran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Iftode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Magheran having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC RACM MD's Daniel Drâmbă got a free kick in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sergiu Băcila sped through FC RACM MD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihnea Magheran. When Maxim Olăroiu came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Stratonesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Olăroiu couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC RACM MD's goalkeeper Mihnea Magheran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stratonesti's Sebastian Ţeica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Voina in the 28th minute of play. David Iftode recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stratonesti's Sebastian Ţeica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Stratonesti from getting a goal against them. Flavius Turceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionuț Lovin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Magheran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Băcila, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavius Turceanu made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Sergiu Băcila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stratonesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Băcila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC RACM MD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Stratonesti's Paul Arapașu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Flavius Turceanu's late challenge caught a Stratonesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavius Turceanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes FC RACM MD got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Turceanu. Sergiu Băcila's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Mihnea Magheran skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sebastian Ţeica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Lovin, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Sergiu Băcila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stratonesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergiu Băcila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihnea Magheran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Iftode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes, FC RACM MD's Lucrețiu Răzvan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Ţeica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC RACM MD reached it. Mihnea Magheran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Arapașu in the 85th minute of play. If Flavius Turceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Ionuț Lovin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Ţeica. Stratonesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Lovin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Stratonesti's Maxim Olăroiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihnea Magheran. That made the score 2-3 after 94 minutes of play. Stratonesti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
