The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doru Zgîrţa was the one to do the kick off. When Iulian Vâlcu came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sudrigiul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Vâlcu couldn't finish the play. Iulian Vâlcu's late challenge caught a FC Severin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Vâlcu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, Sudrigiul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Vâlcu to maneuver through the defense. If Eusebiu Lăcătuș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Terzian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Muraru having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Severin fully deserved thier win.
