With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Căplescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cazimir Bejan took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nechifor Căplescu. Nechifor Căplescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nechifor Căplescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Herescu's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Codruț Poenaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of tarzan booed when Fc TAFT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Popeangă didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vali Isăilă came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the tarzan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vali Isăilă couldn't finish the play. Nechifor Căplescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Poenaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. tarzan's Codruț Poenaru got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Căplescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Herescu in the 32nd minute of the match. Nechifor Căplescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Călin Bârsan went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Bejan in the 37th minute of play forced Fc TAFT's goalkeeper Nechifor Căplescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Căplescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Poenaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Herescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Căplescu having to interfere. In the 47th minute Calistrat Herescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Căplescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calistrat Herescu made a kick off. Calistrat Herescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nechifor Căplescu made a huge save. Codruț Poenaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nechifor Căplescu could save by the left post. Nechifor Căplescu was a little too slow when Calistrat Herescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. Virgil Albuț charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Albuț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Virgil Albuț kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nechifor Căplescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Isăilă in the 64th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Calistrat Herescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc TAFT's Nechifor Căplescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calistrat Herescu struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Nechifor Căplescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tarzan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Bârsan got free with Nechifor Căplescu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Călin Bârsan made a precise shot to the right of Nechifor Căplescu. Fc TAFT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Cazimir Bejan came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the tarzan fans jumped to their feet. In the 81st match minute, tarzan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Herescu to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Poenaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nechifor Căplescu having to make a save. If Calistrat Herescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Herescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Calistrat Herescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nechifor Căplescu could save by the left post. tarzan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
