The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damian Arnăuțoiu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Valer Lupeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonard Iovanovici slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Valer Lupeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Iovanovici's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Valer Lupeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matei Uncu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Bârlea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Valer Lupeanu made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Nazzari got free with Valer Lupeanu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, AEK Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Bârlea came free, but Valer Lupeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When F.C.C-N's Ernest Bârlea in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The coaching staff of AEK Constanta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Valer Zăraşcu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Valer Zăraşcu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Leonard Iovanovici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valer Lupeanu. Leonard Iovanovici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Valer Lupeanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cosmin Mocanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Leonard Iovanovici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valer Lupeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 43rd minute, F.C.C-N's Leonard Iovanovici dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonard Iovanovici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ernest Ciocârlan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AEK Constanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Ciocârlan couldn't finish the play. Ernest Ciocârlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rareș Giubelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Cosmin Mocanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Lupeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Bârlea in the 62nd minute of play forced AEK Constanta's goalkeeper Valer Lupeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gheorghe Surugiu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Cosmin Mocanu made a precise shot to the right of Valer Lupeanu. AEK Constanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Leonard Iovanovici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AEK Constanta booed when F.C.C-N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Lupeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Iovanovici in the 90th minute of the match. Valer Lupeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F.C.C-N had played much better football throughout.
