Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Bardesti CF's Mihai Bratoloveanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bardesti CF's Costin Moiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Omescu in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute, Aurel Dobrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florin Bâlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Florin Bâlea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sabin Tătaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18thth minute of the game Mihai Bratoloveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arkos AC's Sabin Tătaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Agusoaei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sabin Tătaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Bâlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Lobonț's late challenge caught a Bardesti CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dacian Lobonț helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arkos AC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dacian Lobonț hit a great ball. Sabin Tătaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihai Bratoloveanu in the 27th minute of play. Ivan Agusoaei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Bardesti CF's Florin Bâlea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabin Tătaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Mihai Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Tătaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costin Moiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Omescu in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Albert Omescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bardesti CF's Costin Moiș. Costin Moiș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Florin Bâlea came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bardesti CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Bâlea couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Mihai Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Tătaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arkos AC's goalkeeper Sabin Tătaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Arkos AC's Sabin Tătaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihai Bratoloveanu in the 55th minute of play. Lucian Olăroiu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sabin Tătaru didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Mihai Bratoloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Florin Bâlea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bardesti CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Florin Bâlea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Tătaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Omescu in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Moiș saved Bardesti CF from getting behind. In the 84th minute Mihai Bratoloveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Tătaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkos AC's Sabin Tătaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Arkos AC from getting a goal against them. If Martin Vătavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Moiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Agusoaei in the 90th minute of play. When Florin Bâlea came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bardesti CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florin Bâlea couldn't finish the play. The Arkos AC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bardesti CF's performance. The match ended with a win for Bardesti CF.
