FAX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregers Vindesbøl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Dorel Iordănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Sluis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Enceanu in the 9th minute of the match. Gregers Vindesbøl took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Ciutacu. Octavian Ciutacu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edgar Silvian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tom Sluis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Jienescu charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Jienescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Gregers Vindesbøl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gregers Vindesbøl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Octavian Ciutacu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute, Edgar Silvian made a precise shot to the right of Tom Sluis. FAX's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nicolae Răduțu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Octavian Ciutacu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The FAX players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gornea-CS Sichevita were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihăiţă Enceanu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Mihăiţă Enceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gregers Vindesbøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gornea-CS Sichevita's Octavian Ciutacu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihăiţă Enceanu got free with Tom Sluis in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gregers Vindesbøl put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Octavian Ciutacu. FAX's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mihăiţă Enceanu 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. 68 minutes into the match, FAX's goal looked a bit too open when Mihăiţă Enceanu came free, but Tom Sluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavian Ciutacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregers Vindesbøl in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to FAX getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Iordache Vârnav hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Gornea-CS Sichevita's Tom Sluis threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romeo Malcoci, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, FAX's Tom Sluis got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Enceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gornea-CS Sichevita getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Valer Cocoș hit a great ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Gregers Vindesbøl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gornea-CS Sichevita's Octavian Ciutacu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavian Ciutacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Iordănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tom Sluis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihăiţă Enceanu went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The FAX supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gornea-CS Sichevita's performance. The match ended with a win for Gornea-CS Sichevita.
