In the 7th minute Rareș Dășanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Păunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of GeaniSimy FC booed when UFC Talpasu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Balcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Rareș Dășanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Talpasu's Andrei Păunescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes GeaniSimy FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Răzvan Balcan who took care of the corner kick. UFC Talpasu's Răzvan Balcan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nichifor Nicea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nichifor Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Urmaticu in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the GeaniSimy FC defense, Aristide Urmaticu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nichifor Nicea. The GeaniSimy FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichifor Nicea should have stopped the shot. If Albert Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, GeaniSimy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Urmaticu came free, but Nichifor Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Nicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Urmaticu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Albert Pătrașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Pătrașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nichifor Nicea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Albert Pătrașcu came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the UFC Talpasu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Pătrașcu couldn't finish the play. Andrei Păunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Dășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Urmaticu in the 83rd minute of play forced GeaniSimy FC's goalkeeper Nichifor Nicea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Urmaticu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Aristide Urmaticu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Nichifor Nicea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Talpasu. After having played for 88 minutes, Albert Pătrașcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UFC Talpasu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Pătrașcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Aristide Urmaticu in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Nichifor Nicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Urmaticu, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to GeaniSimy FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mihnea Măgureanu hit a great ball. The GeaniSimy FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UFC Talpasu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
