Spectators: 5949 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 149) Marcel Avădanei came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Impact Aex's Dorin Antohi. But to his dismay, Dorin Antohi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicu Pintilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Marcel Avădanei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Antohi in the 12th minute of the match. Marcel Avădanei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Antohi in the 14th minute of play. In the 16thth minute of the game Dinu Abrudan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BOTOSANI's Marcel Avădanei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FC Impact Aex's Dinu Abrudan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Avădanei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leontin Joja kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marcel Avădanei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Antohi in the 23rd minute of play. In the 31st minute, FC Impact Aex's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bogdan Munteanu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dorin Antohi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 played minutes FC BOTOSANI got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Gâfu. Bogdan Munteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eric Balaci kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Leontin Joja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorin Antohi to make the kick off. A collision led to FC BOTOSANI getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Iulian Cumpan hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ivan Matei from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Marcel Avădanei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, FC BOTOSANI's Marcel Avădanei got control of the ball when Dinu Abrudan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iurie Cojan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Druță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorin Antohi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Avădanei having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Munteanu in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Impact Aex's goalkeeper Iurie Cojan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iurie Cojan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Munteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Dinu Abrudan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Impact Aex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Abrudan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, FC BOTOSANI's Marcel Avădanei got control of the ball when Dorin Antohi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ivan Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Cumpan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The FC Impact Aex players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
