Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nicu Nae got the match started through his kick off. Mugurel Ogășanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6thth minute of the game Aurelian Oloieru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strimbulici's Eduard Pascariu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduard Pascariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Oloieru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelian Oloieru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Pascariu having to interfere. A collision led to Strimbulici getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Basarab Enigărescu hit a great ball. Eduard Pascariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Ogășanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gică Nebunu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Aanuţei went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gică Nebunu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Nae, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Florin Aanuţei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gică Nebunu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strimbulici's Eduard Pascariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Oloieru in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tacaliile's Marius Ogășanu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Florin Aanuţei shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gică Nebunu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Nicu Nae fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gică Nebunu, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Tacaliile's zone, Nicu Nae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Nebunu came out of the goal and Nicu Nae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicu Nae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Aanuţei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gică Nebunu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Oloieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 49 minutes into the match, Strimbulici's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Oloieru came free, but Eduard Pascariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugurel Ogășanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduard Pascariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Ogășanu in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Florin Aanuţei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strimbulici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Aanuţei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelian Oloieru scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Pascariu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Nicu Nae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strimbulici's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Nae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Nebunu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Felix Lopatnicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacaliile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strimbulici the free kick. The referee gave Strimbulici a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Basarab Enigărescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tacaliile's Gică Nebunu. 2-1. Eduard Pascariu made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Aurelian Oloieru sent off a good shot on target. Strimbulici's Eduard Pascariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Ogășanu in the 82nd minute of play. Grigore Geolgău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gică Nebunu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tacaliile's Gică Nebunu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Corbuț in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Strimbulici players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
