But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Neicu couldn't finish the play. Răzvan Lobonț struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Răzvan Morovan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goala CSS. Remus Neicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Morovan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Neicu in the 19th minute of play forced FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s goalkeeper Răzvan Morovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Remus Neicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Morovan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Răzvan Lobonț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Răzvan Morovan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Remus Neicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goala CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Neicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Răzvan Morovan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 played minutes Avram Tăgorean rounded Goala CSS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Răzvan Lobonț hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Răzvan Morovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Lobonț's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Remus Neicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Teodor Popean fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s protests and gave Teodor Popean a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Goala CSS's Mugurel Pârlea tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Lobonț made a kick off. If Remus Neicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Morovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Neicu in the 60th minute. Rareș Pârvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Iosif Encuțoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Tăgorean struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Iosif Encuțoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC V.a.S.y-MM-. Remus Neicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Ionuț Ştefănică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s Răzvan Morovan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Lobonț in the 72nd minute of play. Rareș Pârvan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Encuțoiu having to interfere. Remus Neicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Răzvan Morovan made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Goala CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Pârvan came free, but Iosif Encuțoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s Avram Tăgorean in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goala CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Remus Neicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Răzvan Morovan made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Răzvan Lobonț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Goala CSS's Remus Neicu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Morovan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Lobonț in the 95th minute of play forced FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s goalkeeper Răzvan Morovan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, FC V.a.S.y-MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Popean to maneuver through the defense. Goala CSS played a much better game than FC V.a.S.y-MM- and deserved their victory. The FC V.a.S.y-MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
