Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ernest Spoială made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Norbert Dylla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Cosor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rapid Berceni's attack was well implemented in the 9th minute, but when Lukáš Podolski was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 12 minutes into the match, Fzr Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Dylla came free, but Dorel Cosor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Ozon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Norbert Dylla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dorel Cosor, passed just outside the right post. Augustin Minculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Cosor having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Fzr Rapid's goalkeeper Dorel Cosor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Dylla. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Spoială in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vali Şimandan saved Rapid Berceni from getting behind. Sven-Edvin Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vali Şimandan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorel Cosor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sorin Lixandru in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Fzr Rapid's goalkeeper Dorel Cosor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergiu Ozon. 27 minutes into the match, Fzr Rapid's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Podolski came free, but Dorel Cosor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rapid Berceni's attentive Ronan Tisdale managed to snatch the ball when Isac Oncescu made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. Dorel Cosor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Dylla's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Laurențiu Burdea hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sorin Lixandru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dorel Cosor. That made the score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norbert Dylla to make the kick off. Vali Şimandan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Alströmer in the 53rd minute of the match. Ronan Tisdale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Norbert Dylla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fzr Rapid's Dorel Cosor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Rapid Berceni's Sergiu Ozon got a free kick in the 59th minute. The Rapid Berceni fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Rapid Berceni's Norbert Dylla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Rapid Berceni's Vali Şimandan got control of the ball when Ernest Spoială tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fzr Rapid's Dorel Cosor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Ozon in the 72nd minute of play. When Cornel Isărescu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fzr Rapid's protests and gave Cornel Isărescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Cornel Isărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorel Cosor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Ozon in the 94th minute of play. Rapid Berceni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
