Viorel Muncelean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legiunea Olteniei. After the first half Legiunea Olteniei were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Legiunea Olteniei played a much better game than Sacalusesti and deserved their victory. The Sacalusesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
