Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sandra's Iosif Acalinei got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 minutes, Valeriu Pisculescu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bozioru's Nistor Iriza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihai Mazăre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Tatulici having to interfere. Mihai Mazăre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Cristinel Tatulici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Sandra's goalkeeper Cristinel Tatulici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Mazăre. Nistor Iriza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Pisculescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mihai Mazăre in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristinel Tatulici, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valeriu Pisculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sandra booed when Bozioru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Deșliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sandra's Petru Murgu tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Mihai Mazăre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Avacariței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristinel Tatulici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Avacariței in the 35th minute of play. Eric Romoşan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cristinel Tatulici made a huge save. After having played for 42 minutes, Mihai Mazăre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozioru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Mazăre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bozioru's Eric Romoşan pulled a muscle in his leg after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ion Achim charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Achim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Sandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Achim to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Sandra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Valeriu Pisculescu made the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Pisculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandra's Petru Murgu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nistor Iriza but with some difficulty. Mihai Mazăre struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cristinel Tatulici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozioru. Iosif Acalinei took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Iriza. Nistor Iriza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Felix Iriza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Edgar Calini hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Mihai Mazăre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihai Mazăre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cornel Şoimaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandra's goalkeeper Cristinel Tatulici, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihai Mazăre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bozioru's Nistor Iriza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Pisculescu in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sandra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
