Martin Lupeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Răţescu having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Liviu Cristache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zidurii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Cristache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Răţescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dinu Drăgănoiu. Martin Lupeanu scored 1-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Răţescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 30 in the game by Nae Bitănescu from a close distance when the talented Adrian Răţescu managed to make a qualified save. BLUE LIONS FC's players were relieved. 31 minutes into the match, FC Zidurii's Martin Lupeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Răţescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nae Bitănescu in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Răţescu saved BLUE LIONS FC from getting behind. Nae Bitănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nae Bitănescu got free with Adrian Răţescu in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nae Bitănescu was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Răţescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Bitănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nae Bitănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Răţescu having to interfere. If Nae Bitănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisc Sasu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 60 played minutes, FC Zidurii's Gheorghe Zub shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Răţescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Zidurii reached it. Adrian Răţescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Sasu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. BLUE LIONS FC's Adrian Răţescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Bitănescu in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to FC Zidurii getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nae Bitănescu hit a great ball. Nae Bitănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adrian Răţescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nae Bitănescu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Răţescu saved BLUE LIONS FC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Martin Lupeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Răţescu. BLUE LIONS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Lupeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Martin Lupeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adrian Răţescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
