Zbigniew Klejnowski came out of the goal and Sandu Ecobescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeo Turcan charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Fc Ciumpalacii booed when Casinul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Turcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes Fc Ciumpalacii got a freekick which was hit by George Gorcea. Filip Ortacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorin Albu having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
