Spectators: 7388 (Terracing: 5542, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Barascu started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Noel FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ovidiu Cinteză hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Mihail Dobrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zbigniew Klejnowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Dobrescu in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Casinul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Ortacu to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Sever Niculcea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casinul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noel FC the free kick. Sorin Bidulescu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Zbigniew Klejnowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Hrean in the 28th minute of play. Mihail Dobrescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zbigniew Klejnowski having to make a save. Mihail Dobrescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbigniew Klejnowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Dobrescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Octav Hrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Moșoiu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbigniew Klejnowski saved Casinul from getting behind. In the 43rd minute Mihail Dobrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Klejnowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Casinul's Sever Niculcea got a free kick in the 57th minute. Octav Hreans short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Zbigniew Klejnowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 72 minutes, Octav Hrean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Hrean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Dobrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zbigniew Klejnowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Hrean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octav Hrean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Klejnowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Dobrescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Casinul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Noel FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
