If Ciprian Mestecăneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Emanuel Nicodim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cimpeni FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salcea FCM the free kick. A collision led to Cimpeni FCM getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Emanuel Nicodim hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Remus Dragota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mugurel Nițoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Petruț Encica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Remus Dragota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Nițoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Cimpeni FCM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salcea FCM:s goal. In the 31st minute, Anton Doroftei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salcea FCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mugurel Nițoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciprian Mestecăneanu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Ciprian Mestecăneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salcea FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Mestecăneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Remus Dragota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciprian Mestecăneanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Remus Dragota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mugurel Nițoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciprian Mestecăneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salcea FCM's Remus Dragota got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cimpeni FCM's goalkeeper Mugurel Nițoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciprian Mestecăneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Nițoi having to interfere. Mugurel Nițoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Mestecăneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Remus Dragota made a precise shot to the right of Mugurel Nițoi. Cimpeni FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Remus Dragota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Dragota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mugurel Nițoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Ciprian Mestecăneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Nițoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cimpeni FCM's Mugurel Nițoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Dragota in the 77th minute of play. Remus Dragota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Nițoi having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Cimpeni FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Iovan to maneuver through the defense. When Ciprian Mestecăneanu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Salcea FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Mestecăneanu couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Dragoş Birișu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugurel Nițoi came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Salcea FCM's Remus Dragota. But to his dismay, Remus Dragota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Ciprian Mestecăneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 99 minutes, Remus Dragota made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cimpeni FCM's Mugurel Nițoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salcea FCM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
