The supporters of Poderee FCM booed when Manta CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Izvoranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Moți sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Muja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Tărău in the 26th minute of play. When Mihail Tărău came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Poderee FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Tărău couldn't finish the play. Adam Muja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Alucusan in the 33rd minute of play. Eusebiu Alucusan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adam Muja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Eusebiu Alucusan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manta CSM's Adam Muja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Mihail Tărău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poderee FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Tărău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Poderee FCM's Mădălin Dejeu got a free kick in the 47th minute. The long shot by Dumitru Boteanu in the 48th minute really tested Octavian Buhăescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Irinel Ignea made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Manta CSM's Irinel Ignea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Buhăescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manta CSM's Emilian Moți got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Alucusans short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Adam Muja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilian Moți received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Octavian Buhăescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eusebiu Alucusan sped through Manta CSM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Muja. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Moți in the 71st minute of play forced Poderee FCM's goalkeeper Octavian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Dumitru Boteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manta CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poderee FCM the free kick. In the 74th minute of the game, Poderee FCM got a penalty. In the 78th minute of the match, Eusebiu Alucusan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adam Muja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
