Remus Zogreanu took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Buhăescu. After some careless play in the FC Andrei Romania defense, Mădălin Dejeu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dirk Bouman. The FC Andrei Romania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dirk Bouman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Jurăscu to make the kick off. Gelu Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Octavian Buhăescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute Gelu Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Buhăescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Andrei Romania's zone, Eusebiu Alucusan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dirk Bouman came out of the goal and Eusebiu Alucusan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Andrei Romania's Dirk Bouman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Andrei Romania from getting a goal against them. If Gelu Jurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Andrei Romania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Jurăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Jurăscu in the 88th minute of play forced Poderee FCM's goalkeeper Octavian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute, Paul Musceleanu made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Buhăescu. Poderee FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Poderee FCM walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
