Thanks to some nice moves Oliver Torres could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Horaţiu Calboreanu however easily saved by the left post. 7 minutes into the match, Pirvanesti CSS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Calboreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Torres. In the 11th minute, Royal Court Targoviste's Oliver Torres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horaţiu Calboreanu. Horaţiu Calboreanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Pirvanesti CSS's Valentin Cojan got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Pirvanesti CSS's goalkeeper Horaţiu Calboreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Torres. In the 21st minute, Cristinel Grădinaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Royal Court Targoviste's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Neaga came free, but Sandu Tudorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristinel Grădinaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Tudorache having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Royal Court Targoviste got a freekick which was hit by Doru Oproiu. With a little luck, Pirvanesti CSS's Horaţiu Calboreanu got control of the ball when Oliver Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacy Skonieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plácido Meira took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Calboreanu. Horaţiu Calboreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valentin Cojan charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Cojan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pirvanesti CSS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Valentin Cojan hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Neaga made a kick off. Sever Pătrașcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Calboreanu having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Pirvanesti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Alex Botescu. Horaţiu Calboreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Skonieczny in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Rareș Prislop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Court Targoviste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirvanesti CSS the free kick. Rareș Prislop kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Royal Court Targoviste's Sandu Tudorache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Royal Court Targoviste from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Pirvanesti CSS's Gheorghe Loga got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Oliver Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Court Targoviste's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Calboreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horaţiu Calboreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Plácido Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Sandu Tudorache came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Pirvanesti CSS's Eugen Slicaru. But to his dismay, Eugen Slicaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 80 minutes into the game, Cristinel Grădinaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pirvanesti CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Court Targoviste the free kick. In the 80th minute, Cristinel Grădinaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pirvanesti CSS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sebastian Neaga hit a great ball. Horaţiu Calboreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Oliver Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horaţiu Calboreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Royal Court Targoviste's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
