Maxut FC's Panait Gherase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Grădinaru in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Neaga to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Maxut FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Neaga came free, but Panait Gherase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 71 minutes on the clock, Cristian Honcioiu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Maxut FC's Cristian Honcioiu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes, Pirvanesti CSS's Cristinel Grădinaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Panait Gherase came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pirvanesti CSS reached it. In the 78thth minute of the game Sebastian Neaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maxut FC's Panait Gherase was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 87 played minutes Maxut FC got a freekick which was hit by Filip Bodea. After a rather tough play, Maxut FC's Gelu Crețulescu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Cristinel Grădinaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxut FC's Lucrețiu Aluchei got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maxut FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pirvanesti CSS.
