The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Iablanita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Tâlvescu came free, but Matei Cămărășescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Aurelian Macarie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jadani CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Ioan Piț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Silviu Teodorescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 minutes of play, Jadani CSS's Aurelian Macarie made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Cămărășescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Nicu Tâlvescu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Jadani CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Tâlvescu couldn't finish the play. In the last second Petruț Chiper throw himself and got hold of the ball when Virgil Cristescu in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pompiliu Bodnar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Petruț Chiper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Aurelian Macarie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Cămărășescu. Iablanita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelian Macarie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Matei Cămărășescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Teodorescu in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Aurelian Macarie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jadani CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelian Macarie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Macarie in the 28th minute of play forced Iablanita AFC's goalkeeper Matei Cămărășescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matei Cămărășescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Teodorescu in the 29th minute of play. Petruț Chiper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Bodnar in the 30th minute. 0-4 became the score in the 32nd minute when Silviu Teodorescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Flavius Pădure hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Matei Cămărășescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Macarie in the 37th minute of the match. Pompiliu Bodnar succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The supporters of Jadani CSS booed when Iablanita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Bodnar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matei Cămărășescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Teodorescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Pompiliu Bodnar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iablanita AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelian Macarie in the 62nd minute of play forced Iablanita AFC's goalkeeper Matei Cămărășescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jadani CSS's Petruț Chiper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Bodnar in the 64th minute of play. Petruț Chiper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgil Cristescu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Jadani CSS's Iulian Miu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jadani CSS's Petruț Chiper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgil Cristescu in the 71st minute of play. Matei Cămărășescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Silviu Teodorescu sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Iablanita AFC's Avram Mugur got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute Pompiliu Bodnar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petruț Chiper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Bodnar in the 76th minute of play forced Jadani CSS's goalkeeper Petruț Chiper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pompiliu Bodnar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Chiper having to interfere. Aurelian Macarie struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Matei Cămărășescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jadani CSS. Pompiliu Bodnar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Petruț Chiper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Bodnar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Petruț Chiper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Virgil Cristescu made a precise shot to the right of Petruț Chiper. Jadani CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. Petruț Chiper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Bodnar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petruț Chiper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Bodnar in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
