Valentin Fințescu took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Şteflea. Cătălin Şteflea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Valentin Fințescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Zbârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cătălin Şteflea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC BURNAZ fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when FC BURNAZ's Valentin Fințescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurel Zgondea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Klement Wieloch. FC BURNAZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentin Fințescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Şteflea having to make a save. Cătălin Şteflea came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BURNAZ's Valentin Fințescu. But to his dismay, Valentin Fințescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petruț Pescaru to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciprian Hrebenciuc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Şteflea having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Fințescu in the 57th minute of play forced FC VIDELE's goalkeeper Cătălin Şteflea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Valentin Fințescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Valentin Fințescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cătălin Şteflea, 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Matei Goma in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC BURNAZ's Octav Mincu. Cătălin Şteflea made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ciprian Hrebenciuc sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Fințescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Şteflea having to interfere. Iordache Rucăreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Fințescu in the 80th minute of play forced FC VIDELE's goalkeeper Cătălin Şteflea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Valentin Fințescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BURNAZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Fințescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Şteflea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octav Mincu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Valentin Fințescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Şteflea having to interfere. If Valentin Fințescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Fințescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Fințescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Şteflea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Fințescu ran back to his position shaking his head. FC BURNAZ played a much better game than FC VIDELE and deserved their victory. The FC VIDELE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
