Pompiliu Bodnar charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pompiliu Bodnar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pompiliu Bodnar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Valentin Fințescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC BURNAZ's Valentin Fințescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Avram Mugur, made in the 9th minute of the game. Klement Wieloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Cristescu in the 15th minute of play. Matei Cămărășescu came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC BURNAZ's Doru Zbârlea. But to his dismay, Doru Zbârlea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pavel Săvescu's late challenge caught a FC BURNAZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Săvescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Iablanita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Săvescu. Pompiliu Bodnar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Klement Wieloch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute, Octav Mincu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Cămărășescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Șerban Băncilă put in a rough tackle. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Valentin Fințescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BURNAZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Fințescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Cămărășescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pompiliu Bodnar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Iureș kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half FC BURNAZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Fințescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iablanita AFC's Matei Cămărășescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Iablanita AFC from getting a goal against them. Matei Cămărășescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doru Zbârlea in the 57th minute. If Pompiliu Bodnar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Octav Mincu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC BURNAZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iablanita AFC the free kick. Iablanita AFC's Pavel Săvescu got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Pavel Săvescu off the ground. A collision led to Iablanita AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Virgil Cristescu hit a great ball. Matei Cămărășescu stood somewhat misplaced when Valentin Fințescu came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. In the 72nd match minute, FC BURNAZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Zbârlea to maneuver through the defense. Pompiliu Bodnar scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Wieloch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pompiliu Bodnar scored 2-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klement Wieloch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Avram Mugur made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pompiliu Bodnar immediately put the ball in play. If Doru Zbârlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Fințescu in the 93rd minute of play forced Iablanita AFC's goalkeeper Matei Cămărășescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Iablanita AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC BURNAZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
