Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Iustin Unchiaşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Dumitrescu in the 2nd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Eduard Dumitrescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Unchiaşu. Gruelaci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Dumitrescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Rareș Mihai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Costandache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rareș Mihai's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes Costestii got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Siteavu. A collision led to Costestii getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Eusebiu Băcila hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Gruelaci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Trevisan came free, but Iustin Unchiaşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gruelaci FC booed when Costestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eche Homo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eche Homo in the 30th minute of play forced Gruelaci FC's goalkeeper Iustin Unchiaşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes Gruelaci FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eusebiu Băcila who took care of the corner kick. When Rareș Mihai came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gruelaci FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rareș Mihai couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eche Homo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rareș Mihais short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Victor Costandache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Eche Homo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Unchiaşu. Gruelaci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eche Homo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Costestii's Octavian Rădulescu was substituted for Eusebiu Băcila. Costestii made a substitution. Leonard Turcescu replaced Aurel Siteavu. A collision led to Gruelaci FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Rareș Mihai hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Cosmin Silişteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gruelaci FC the free kick. In the 71st minute, Gruelaci FC's Rareș Mihai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Gruelaci FC's Romeo Vâlcu was substituted for Aron Andronic. Iustin Unchiaşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eche Homo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Eliodor Pescaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gruelaci FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Pescaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gruelaci FC's Traian Lupescu was substituted for Florin Zogreanu. Eche Homo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Unchiaşu having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Costestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Gruelaci FC's Iustin Unchiaşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Crâșmaru in the 96th minute of play. Costestii walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
