Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mihail Buricea took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 5 in the game by Rareș Mihai from a close distance when the talented Leonard Turcan managed to make a qualified save. Plopi AC's players were relieved. Iustin Unchiaşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Levința in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Gruelaci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Mitică to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rareș Mihai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Turcan was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Adrian Mocanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Turcan. The goal made the score 2-0. When Gruelaci FC's Adrian Mocanu in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plopi AC's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Calomfir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iustin Unchiaşu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Plopi AC's Leonard Turcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Mocanu in the 27th minute of play. Mihail Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Gruelaci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Buricea came free, but Iustin Unchiaşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustin Unchiaşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Levința, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Gruelaci FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ernest Mitică hit a great ball. If Adrian Mocanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Turcan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Rareș Mihai sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rareș Mihai to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rareș Mihai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonard Turcan was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Adrian Mocanu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Turcan. Leonard Turcan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Leonard Turcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Mihai in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Andronic in the 63rd minute of play forced Plopi AC's goalkeeper Leonard Turcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rareș Mihai in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Turcan saved Plopi AC from getting behind. Adrian Mocanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Turcan having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Eric Istrătescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plopi AC and the Gruelaci FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Istrătescu hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Leonard Turcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Mihai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Mihai in the 77th minute of play forced Plopi AC's goalkeeper Leonard Turcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Eric Istrătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gruelaci FC made a substitution. Luca Noica replaced Horea Filipoiu. After a rather tough play, Plopi AC's Eric Istrătescu got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Gruelaci FC got a corner. Plopi AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Cernescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Gruelaci FC booed when Plopi AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Levința didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Plopi AC defense, Adrian Mocanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Turcan. The Plopi AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Turcan should have stopped the shot. Leonard Turcan came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gruelaci FC's Adrian Mocanu. But to his dismay, Adrian Mocanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Leonard Turcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Mihai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Busuioceanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, one of Plopi AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Plopi AC. Leonard Turcan went to the wrong direction when Liviu Cernescu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gruelaci FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
