Spectators: 6809 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iosif Pandrea kicked off to start the match. When Teodor Stătescu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casinul's protests and gave Teodor Stătescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Casinul's Teodor Stătescu got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th match minute, Fc Champions Umbro Tgv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Pandrea to maneuver through the defense. Fc Champions Umbro Tgv's Cristian Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Stătescu in the 7th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Casinul got a freekick which was hit by Marian Leucuța. In the 13th minute of the match, Iosif Pandrea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Traian Băbescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 17th minute Basarab Bârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Teodor Stătescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Mateus. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Stătescu couldn't finish the play. Marian Leucuța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Mateus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Teodor Stătescu made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Casinul getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alex Craia hit a great ball. Traian Băbescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Pandrea's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Teodor Stătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cristian Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Iosif Pandrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casinul's Traian Băbescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, José Julio Barcelo notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Casinul's Traian Băbescu. Traian Băbescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 85 played minutes Fc Champions Umbro Tgv got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Popeangă. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Pandrea in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Traian Băbescu saved Casinul from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Pandrea in the 96th minute of play forced Casinul's goalkeeper Traian Băbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Champions Umbro Tgv's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
