Calistrat Prelipceanu hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Iosif Pandrea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steaua Bucuresti's Augustin Macrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Fc Champions Umbro Tgv defense, Calistrat Mara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Mateus. The Fc Champions Umbro Tgv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mateus should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Vrejiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Macrea having to interfere. In the 70th minute, José Julio Barcelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augustin Macrea. The goal made the score 1-4.
