Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Basarab Bârlea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, INTEL's goal looked a bit too open when Basarab Bârlea came free, but Emanuel Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, INTEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Vişan to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Manuel Vrejiu in the 21st minute of play was well struck, but Emanuel Doloman made a really good save at the right post. Călin Mergea took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Traian Băbescu. Traian Băbescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Teodor Stătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Emanuel Doloman made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marian Leucuța during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, Marian Leucuța hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, INTEL's Aurelian Brumă tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. INTEL's Călin Mergea got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Stătescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Casinul's Teodor Stătescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Doloman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play Casinul's Marian Leucuța was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Nistor to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Doloman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Stătescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Emanuel Doloman came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Casinul's Teodor Stătescu. But to his dismay, Teodor Stătescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 59th minute Teodor Stătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alex Craia came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Casinul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Craia couldn't finish the play. Basarab Bârlea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casinul's Basarab Bârlea got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Alex Craia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casinul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTEL the free kick. The supporters of INTEL booed when Casinul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Craia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Stătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Doloman came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Casinul's Teodor Stătescu. But to his dismay, Teodor Stătescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Emanuel Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basarab Bârlea in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Basarab Bârlea put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Doloman. Teodor Stătescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Doloman having to interfere. Emanuel Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Stătescu in the 93rd minute of the match. If Teodor Stătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Alex Craia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
