Spectators: 6801 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. If Albert Pintilie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iosif Pandrea scored 4-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustin Macrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augustin Macrea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iosif Pandrea's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Steaua Bucuresti's goalkeeper Augustin Macrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Julio Barcelo. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Steaua Bucuresti's Augustin Macrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Pandrea in the 84th minute of play. José Julio Barcelo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Augustin Macrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Champions Umbro Tgv. Codruț Stoican kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Fc Champions Umbro Tgv's Iosif Pandrea in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua Bucuresti's goalie prevented a goal. Fc Champions Umbro Tgv walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
